Spring Bike Removal
Attention All Bicycle Owners

On May 12, 2008 Transportation Services personnel will begin the process of removing abandoned bikes, including bikes that are not parked in designated bike parking areas. In addition, all locks, wheels, and other bike parts attached to bike racks will be removed. This process will continue until all areas of campus have been cleaned up.
Sometimes it is difficult, if not impossible, to determine if a bike is abandoned or has simply not been used for an extended period of time. In order to ensure that your bike or lock is not removed, I urge you to PLEASE take your bike home with you, even if you will be returning for the first summer session.
Your cooperation will substantially reduce the number of bikes that have to be removed, ensure that your bike and/or lock is not damaged by mistake, and allow space for those using the racks on a daily basis for work and studies.
Thank you for your help and understanding. Have a great and safe summer.
