RELLIS Campus Parking FAQs

Initially, there will be 2 parking areas.

  • Student parking for Blinn and Texas A&M students is located to the east of the academic building and will have 1288 spaces
  • Parking for the Center for Infrastructure Renewal and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute is located to the south of the academic building and will have 726 spaces

Route 47 (RELLIS) began servicing RELLIS in Feb. 2018. We are currently running an interim service and will expand to full service on Aug. 13.


Interim Service

Current service runs 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday with one stop on Main Campus and RELLIS Campus each. The bus ride to RELLIS is 25-30 minutes one way.

  • Main Campus stop – North Bizzell Rd. across the pedestrian path from Wisenbaker
  • RELLIS Campus stop – Center for Infrastructural Renewal (CIR) and Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) parking lot

Full Service

Full service begins Aug. 13 and will run every day of the week with two stops on Main Campus and RELLIS Campus each.

Hours of operation:

  • Monday–Friday: Service begins from Main Campus at 7:00am and ends with the last bus leaving RELLIS Campus at 10:30pm
  • Saturday–Sunday: Service begins from Main Campus at 9:00am and ends with the last bus leaving RELLIS Campus at 5:30pm

Main Campus bus stops:

  • Old Main Dr.
  • North Bizzell Rd. across the pedestrian path from Wisenbaker

RELLIS Campus bus stops:

  • Blinn College and Alliiance Academic Complex parking lot
  • Center for Infrastructural Renewal (CIR) and Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) parking lot

They will be available August 1, 2018, and no registration or waiting list is required.

The cost for 2018–2019 will be $310, and the permit will be valid August 1, 2018–August 9, 2019.

We will be using “permit-less parking” at the RELLIS campus. At time of purchase you will enter your license plate and your license plate will become your permit. You will not receive a physical permit.

Customers needing to park at RELLIS may also use the Parkmobile app app or pay stations to pay by the hour.

If you enter your license plate incorrectly, you will be cited. You can file an appeal and include your correct plate number.

To correct a license plate number, log into your account and update your information.

We will initially allow you to register 1 vehicle during the purchase process.

Enter the tag number during the purchase process just as if it was a regular plate.

Texas law requires both a front and back plate be displayed on your vehicle. If you only have one plate, it must be facing the drive aisle. No anti camera coverings can be used on the plate facing the drive aisle.

Pay by the hour visitor parking will be available on the RELLIS campus.

Yes, there will be motorcycle parking at RELLIS.

Yes, you will need a motorcycle permit. RELLIS motorcycle permits will be available for sale online beginning Aug. 1, and the cost for 2018-19 will be $99. Texas A&M or Blinn motorcycle permits are not valid at RELLIS. The permit will be valid August 1, 2018–August 9, 2019.

You should display your disabled placard on the vehicle registered when you paid by the hour to park or purchased your annual permit.

Visitor parking may be paid via the Parkmobile app or at the pay stations in the lot. Sign up for Parkmobile with your email, license plate and payment method. Once registered you may begin to use Parkmobile immediately to pay by the hour!
