RELLIS Campus Parking FAQs

Initially, there will be 2 new parking areas.

  • Academic Lot 1000 - Student parking for Blinn and Texas A&M students is located to the east of the academic building and will have 1288 spaces
  • CIR/TTI Lot 8535 - Parking for the Center for Infrastructure Renewal and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute is located to the south of the academic building and will have 726 spaces

Log into your account at tranpsport.tamu.edu/account. Use the option at the bottom left side of the page under (Blinn Students). Then use your Blinn College login credentials.

Log in at tranpsport.tamu.edu/account. You will need to "Request a Login ID for Nonaffiliates" located on the bottom right side of the screen. Complete the information and your login credentials will be emailed to you. You can then log in on the right side of the page under "Visitors, Contractors, Vendors, SSC Employees and all others" section and purchase the "RELLIS Lot 1000 Contracted" permit.

Route 47 (RELLIS) serves RELLIS. Full service will run every day of the week with two stops on Main Campus and RELLIS Campus each.


Hours of operation:

  • Monday–Friday: Service begins from Main Campus at 7:00am and ends with the last bus leaving RELLIS Campus at 10:30pm
  • Saturday–Sunday: Service begins from Main Campus at 9:00am and ends with the last bus leaving RELLIS Campus at 5:30pm

A&M campus bus stops:

  • Old Main Dr.
  • North Bizzell Rd. across the pedestrian path from Wisenbaker

RELLIS campus bus stops:

  • Blinn College and Alliiance Academic Complex Lot 1000
  • Center for Infrastructural Renewal (CIR) and Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) Lot 8535

They will be available on August 27, 2018, and no registration or waiting list is required.

2018–2019 annual permits are $310, and the permit will be valid Aug. 11, 2018–Aug. 9, 2019.

Fall Semester permits are $150 and will be valid Aug. 11, 2018 – Jan. 11, 2019. These permits are non-refundable.

Spring Semester permits will be $150 and are valid Jan. 12, 2019 - May 11, 2019. These permits are non-refundable.

We will be using “permit-less parking” or “virtual permits” at the RELLIS campus. At time of purchase you will enter your license plate and your license plate will become your permit. You will not receive a physical permit. Vehicles must park with a license plate facing the drive aisle.

Customers needing to park at RELLIS may also use the Parkmobile app app or pay stations to pay by the hour.

If you enter your license plate incorrectly, you will be cited. You can file an appeal and include your correct plate number.

To correct a license plate number, log into your account and update your information.

We will initially allow you to register 1 vehicle during the purchase process.

Enter the tag number during the purchase process just as if it was a regular plate.

Texas law requires both a front and back plate be displayed on your vehicle. If you only have one plate, it must be facing the drive aisle. No anti camera coverings can be used on the plate facing the drive aisle.

Pay by the hour visitor parking will be available on the RELLIS campus.

For students attending classes after 5 p.m. we have a RELLIS night permit that is valid from 5 pm - 6 am.

2018–2019 annual night permits will be $99, and the permit will be valid August 11, 2018–August 9, 2019.

Yes, there will be motorcycle parking at RELLIS.

Yes, you will need a permit if you plan to park a motorcycle at. RELLIS. Motorcycle permits will be available for sale online beginning Aug. 13.

Texas A&M or Blinn motorcycle permits are not valid at RELLIS.

You should display your disabled placard on the vehicle registered when you paid by the hour to park or purchased your annual permit.

Visitor parking may be paid via the Parkmobile app or at the pay stations in the lot using Zone 7743. Sign up for Parkmobile with your email, license plate and payment method. Once registered you may begin to use Parkmobile immediately to pay by the hour!

Parking will be implemented in phases. During Fall 2018, Lot 1000, adjacent to the Academic Alliance Building and Lot 8535, adjacent to the CIR and TTI Buildings, will require permits.

  • If you are an employee at the CIR or TTI Building, you should purchase the virtual “RELLIS Lot 8535” permit. Only faculty, staff and graduate students will be eligible to purchase this permit. This permit is valid in both Lot 1000 and 8535. You must enter your license plate number at the time of purchase. This cost is $310 annually for Blinn/Academic Alliance (Lot 1000), CIR and TTI (Lot 8535) lots.
  • If you are an employee at the Academic Alliance Building, you may purchase either Lot 1000 or RELLIS Lot 8535, however permits for Lot 1000 are valid in that lot only. Permits for Lot 8535 are valid in both lots.

If you are a Texas A&M employee with an A&M parking permit and also have a need to park at the RELLIS campus you should purchase a “RELLIS Add On” permit. These will be used in conjunction with your Texas A&M permit displayed on your rear view mirror. Employees with Texas A&M permits may request these online via My Parking Account waitlist section at transport.tamu.edu. Add the “RELLIS Add on” permit to your waitlist and you will be notified when you can make the purchase. This permit will be 1/3 the price of an annual permit for FY2019, $103. You must enter your license plate number at the time of purchase.

If you work in a unit that is pre-existing at the RELLIS campus, your permit cost will be $155 annually and will transition to full price in FY2020. The implementation date for this group is scheduled for January 2, 2019.

Departments will be able to purchase a Texas A&M Campus permit that can be checked out by the employee on an as-needed basis to display when they visit the Texas A&M Campus. Employees that travel to the Texas A&M Campus more often can request and purchase their own Texas A&M Campus permit.
