Rod Weis Re-appointed to the IPI Board of Advisors

COLLEGE STATION July 25, 2005 – Texas A&M University Transportation Services Director Rod Weis has been re-appointed to the International Parking Institute Board of Advisors for the 2005-2006 term.

Founded in 1962, the International Parking Institute represents the marketing, economical and political concerns of parking professionals found in virtually every area of corporate America. “We are pleased with Rod’s appointment and know that not only will Texas A&M benefit from his strong leadership and knowledge of technological advancements, but so will the parking industry as a whole,” says Joe A. Powell, Associate Vice President for Business Affairs.

The Institute’s purpose is to provide leadership, education, technical resources and information to the parking profession and related fields.
