Faculty and Staff Parking
| What will happen with business permits? |

| I have a permit for a numbered space in the garage and when I register for parking, I see three choices to renew my permit. What is the difference? |
Faculty and staff in numbered spaces in garages now have the option to pay $660 for a permit for a numbered space in the first floor priority bay, pay $573 for a permit for a numbered space on an upper level, or pay $432 for a permit for a reserved (unnumbered) space. The reserved (unnumbered) spaces are located above the visitor levels behind the second level gates. |
| If I choose to remain in a numbered space in the garage, will I be assured that I will have the same space number? |
No. Once registration has closed, those customers who have elected to stay in a numbered will be consolidated to the lowest level available space. We anticipate that approximately 25% of the customers will receive a new space number. |
| If I choose to park in a reserved (unnumbered) space, on what levels will I be able to park? |
We anticipate that the reserved (unnumbered) spaces will begin on the 3rd levels of the garages. We will not know the exact location until registration has closed and we know the number of numbered spaces we will need to hold. |
| My parking registration screen allows me to choose to park in the priority bay (1st level) in the garages. I thought this was only available to top level administrators. Am I eligible to request priority bay parking? |
Yes. Should priority bay parking become available and there are no executive level requests, we will fill the spaces from the waitlist. |
| What happens if I am still on a 2006-07 wait list when registration for 2007-08 opens? |
The wait list is rebuilt and starts fresh each permit year. Customers should register for the lots they want each year. Priority is still given according to the University's Assignment Process. |
