Association for Commuter Transportation 2015 Award Recognized Ron Steedly

The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) recognized Ron Steedly, Texas A&M University Transportation Services’ alternative transportation manager, for his role in the transportation demand management (TDM) field during the recent ACT 2015 International Conference in Baltimore.
ACT gives awards annually for innovative concepts, creative solutions, professional achievement, and leadership.
“Each year, ACT members and their partners strive to bring better communal transportation options to choice and captive commuters,” said Bill Anderson, ACT’s executive director. “At ACT we are dedicated to sustainable transportation options and cost-effective mobility solutions for commuters, employers, and communities. These are transportation solutions for our future resilient cities. The 2015 ACT Annual Award winners were chosen by their peers as the best of the best.”
Ron Steedly from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, was the recipient of the ACT’s Bob Owens TDM Champions Award. This highest honor is reserved for innovative or entrepreneurial individuals who have demonstrated a career commitment to developing TDM and championing its advances. This award recognizes the highest level of professionalism and is the culmination of long-running dedication to the industry.

We are pleased to see his efforts recognized in this way by his peers and by ACT.”
