Purchasing Instructions

You must complete the entire purchase process, including payment, before you arrive at the RV Lot. Failure to complete any part of the claim and purchase process within the time frames provided will result in the re-posting for sale of the RV space you selected.

It is essential that you read the Texas A&M Transportation Services Football RV Lot Rules (also found on the upper right hand corner of this page and the RV Parking page) before making your RV permit payment. Payment of the RV and Tow vehicle permit is your agreement to abide by these rules.

  1. In order to access the RV Exchange, claim and then purchase an individual RV Football lot space, you must first log in or create an account.
  2. From the My Account home page, select the RV Exchange tab at the top left of the page. From the drop down menu select “Claim RV Permit” to bring you to the page where you can make your selection.
  3. Under “Search RV game permits for sale”, select the desired game from the dropdown menu and optionally the lot location you want. Then click the maroon “Search” button to bring up a list of available spaces.
  4. To select a space, simply click the maroon “Claim” button to the right of it and then “yes” on the pop-up confirmation box afterward.
  5. The permit you selected will then appear at the top of the page.
  6. If you wish to select more than one RV game permit, simply complete steps 2 thru 5 again. Please note that customers may only claim and purchase one permit per game.
  7. You will receive an email confirming your request for each RV permit claimed.
  8. Once your request has been processed and the permit awarded, you will receive a 2nd email. (This can take up to one business day.) You can also return to the Claim RV Permit page to check the current status of your selections.
  9. Check your email for award notification and payment information frequently each business day once you submit your request. Payment must be made by midnight (Central Standard Time) the day after the award email was sent to you.* You will forfeit your selection if payment is not submitted within the allotted time frame.
  10. If at any time before you pay for the claimed permit, you decided you no longer want it, please notify Transportation Services immediately (979.862.7943) so we can place it back up for sale.
  11. To pay for the permit, log into My Account and select the Permits tab at the top of the page. From the drop down menu select “My Waitlists”. When the My Wait List page comes up, click the “pay now” button to the right of the permit you requested. Then follow the instructions provided to complete your transaction. Please note: An additional 25% handling fee will be collected from the purchaser of the permit and kept by Transportation Services to cover processing costs associated with the transaction. This permit is non-refundable.
  12. Payment is not complete until you click the green "Click Here To Complete Your Permit Payment" button. A receipt will appear. Click "Print Receipt" button to obtain a printed copy. Permits purchased through the RV Exchange will not be mailed to you. You must bring a printed copy of your receipt and a valid ID (Driver's License, state issued ID or military ID) with you to the RV lot where you will exchange the receipt for your permits and gain entrance into the RV lot.
  13. You can view the permit receipt/details at any time from the My Account home page by selecting the Permits tab at the top of the page and selecting My Permits.
  14. RV Exchange purchases are non-refundable.

Selling Instructions

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. From the My Account home page, select the RV Exchange tab at the top left of the page. From the drop down menu select “Post RV Game” to bring you to the “Sell/Reassign Your RV Permit” page.
  3. Select the game you wish to sell or reassign to another person by clicking the maroon “Post/Edit” button to the right of it.
  4. A pop-up box will appear with the game’s title and 3 options:
    1. Sell the permit – click on the small circle on the left and then the submit button at the bottom to automatically have your permit posted for sale by Transportation Services.
    2. Reissue the permit – click the small circle to the left, complete each section of the contact information box that pops up with information about your customer, and then click the submit button at the bottom. We will provide the customer with permit paperwork when they arrive at the lot. Reissue requests must be submitted

      no later than noon on Tuesday before the game.

    3. Remove the (sell) posting you previously submitted – click the small circle to the left and then click the submit button at the bottom.
  5. You can check the status of the permits you have posted at any time by logging into My Account and accessing the RV Exchange page.
Please note the following:
  • If you have placed an RV game permit for sale and it is currently claimed by someone in our system, you will not be able to remove the posting or reissue the permit to someone else.
  • An additional 25% handling fee will be collected from the purchaser of the permit and kept by Transportation Services to cover processing costs associated with the transaction.
  • Permits are placed on the RV Exchange in the order in which customers notify us they are available for sale.
  • Purchasing customers may choose from any of the spaces available on the RV Exchange.
  • If your permit remains unsold, you will not receive payment for it.
  • If your permit is sold by Transportation Services, we will refund 100% of the permit’s face value to you. Upon the conclusion of the football season we will conduct our internal audit then process the refunds. It may take up to 8 weeks for check distribution from the university.
