New Student Conference Parking

New Student Conference (NSC) attendees should purchase a Visitor or lot-specific prorated parking permit to park on campus OR pay to park hourly in a visitor facility. Attendees should select the option that best meets their needs from the options described on this page.

ALL vehicles must display a valid Texas A&M University parking permit when parked on university property (other than paid visitor parking areas).

All permits must be purchased online:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click "Purchase event or available annual permit" button.
  3. Choose the daily, weekly or preferred prorated annual permit from the "Choose a Permit Type" dropdown list.
  4. Print the permit receipt and display on your dashboard at all times while parked on campus.

Prorated Annual Permit

NSC attendees who have purchased and received a prorated annual permit for the purpose of parking while attending school DO NOT need to purchase a separate permit to park for NSC. Purchase your lot 100 permit online before you come to your conference. The permit is valid in the following lots (Break & Summer Map).

August Conferences

August NSC attendees who have ordered and received their fall permit may display it and park in their assigned lot. Attendees may also purchase a weekly Visitor permit and park in the Any Valid Permit areas.

Daily or Weekly Permit

As these permits are non-refundable, attendees are encouraged to purchase the permit closer to their conference.

Fall/Spring $5/day or $20/week
Summer $5/day or $15/week

These temporary permits allow attendees to park in the following lots during semester breaks and summer: 30, 40, 43, 50, 61, 71, 88, 100 (West Campus Garage and Southside Garage for summer conferences only) (Map). The permits are non-refundable, only valid for the dates selected during the purchase process, and available for purchase online only at transport2.tamu.edu/account. Attendees will print the permit after purchase. Permits must be displayed on the dashboard at all times while parked on campus.

Hourly Visitor Parking

If attendees do not wish to purchase one of the above permits, they may park in University Center Garage, Central Campus Garage, Northside Garage, West Campus Garage, or lots 51, 61, 72, 74, 88 or 97 and pay the hourly rates. Payments for lots and Northside Garage is required upon arrival and payment for other garages is required upon exit. See the Visitor Parking page for more about the garages and rates.
