Parking Permit Registration for
Off-Campus Students

It's all about class

*For the purposes of parking registration, a student employee qualifies as a student as opposed to an employee.

Which parking lots will be available to you as an off-campus student depends largely upon what your class status will be July 9, 2024, the date your data for Fall 2024 permit assignments will be pulled from Howdy. Each class is listed below with the most likely parking options available to students in that class.

You can register for anything you see in the online registration system, but choose wisely because parking may not be available for you in the lot or garage you selected. Make more than one choice in case your first choice is not available.

Parking assignments I am likely to receive

Grad Students

Our data shows parking for graduates and professional students who have A&M permits now will be available for Fall 2024 in one of the following locations:

Lots 62, 74, 76, 78, 93, 100

Polo Rd. Garage

Gene Stallings Blvd. Garage

University Center Garage

West Campus Garage

*Lots 18, 24, 50, 67, 73, 97, 111, 113, 114

*some but not all grad students will get during 2024–2025.

Seniors

Our data shows parking for seniors who have A&M permits now will be available for Fall 2024 in one of the following locations:

Lot 84

Lot 100

Polo Rd. Garage

Gene Stallings Blvd. Garage

West Campus Garage

*Lots 62, 74, 113,

*University Center Garage

*some seniors will get these lots during 2024–2025

For seniors who do not have a permit at all now, we strongly recommend adding Lot 100 or WCG to your list, even if it is your last choice. Otherwise, some may get NO permit at all but will remain on the waiting list and be offered a permit as soon as one is available.

Sophomores & Juniors

Our data shows parking for sophomores and juniors who have A&M permits now will be available for Fall 2024 in one of the following locations:

Lot 100

Polo Rd. Garage

West Campus Garage >

*Lot 84, 113,

*Gene Stallings Blvd. Garage

*some juniors in fall, some sophomores in spring

For sophomores and juniors who do not have a permit at all now, we strongly recommend adding Lot 100, WCG or Lot 60 to your list, even if it is your last choice. Otherwise, some may get NO permit at all but will remain on the waiting list and be offered a permit as soon as one is available.

Freshmen

Our data shows parking for freshmen will be assigned parking in one of three locations only:

Lot 100 (a–j)

Polo Rd. Garage

West Campus Garage

We strongly recommend adding WCG to your list, even if it is your last choice. Otherwise, some freshmen may get NO permit at all but will remain on the waiting list and be offered a permit as soon as one is available.
