Design Work Is Underway To Widen Texas A&M’s Penberthy Road

Design work is underway to widen Texas A&M’s Penberthy Road.

A&M’s chief operating officer Peter Lange says the purpose of the project to help relieve upcoming congestion when construction starts on the new interchange at George Bush Drive and Wellborn Road.

In addition to adding a lane, the project will include a shared use path for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Lange says the goal is to finish this project before the George Bush/Wellborn construction begins.
