An ADA coordinator on staff with Transportation Services has been designated to insure compliance with the nondiscrimination requirements contained in section 35.107 of the Department of Justice regulations.
Information concerning the provisions contained and the rights provided within the Americans with Disabilities Act are available from the coordinator.

An employee who requires a reasonable accommodation should inform their supervisor.
Departments can find support for responding to accommodation requests by contacting the appropriate university ADA contact person:
Designated accessible parking spaces are for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying county-issued disabled hang tags or disabled license plates.
A valid Texas A&M permit must be displayed at all times while parked on campus except in paid visitor parking areas.
Disabled parking placards and license plates are issued by the County Tax Assessor-Collector's office.

Paratransit is a shared ride service that operates on a fixed schedule.
Paratransit service is available to qualified students, faculty and staff who live within 5 miles of a fixed-route.
