Monday, Wednesday - Friday; 3 hour blocks, 4 hour blocks in the Summer (if applicable)
Major/Essential Duties of Job
Project Management Office Unit Pay Scale A-Starting Pay Rate: $11.00/hour Football paid $20/hour Major/Essential Duties: • Assisting Project Management Office unit with various daily tasks and projects. • Main responsibilities include: o Respond to emails. o Schedule meetings. o Create meeting agendas and timelines. o Attend project meetings. o Take notes at project meetings. o Edit meeting notes. o Track meeting action items. o Prepare project management requests submitted to the project management office for the project manager. o Track project metrics. o Review and update project templates. o Create weekly project management reports. o Utilize software to build out project management metrics. o Develop stakeholder communication outreach materials related to projects. o Research project management software. o Miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned. • May be eligible for priority registration as a student employee (Texas A&M students only). Required qualifications: • Must have solid communication skills with an ability to work well on a team. • Must be strong in the following skills: written and verbal communication, working well with people, creative thinking and problem solving, and computer proficiency. • Must be a self-starter with a desire to take initiative on projects without necessarily having explicit directions to do so. • Must have proficient skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Office, and PowerPoint). • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must be enrolled as a student for a minimum of 9 hours per semester (excluding Summer Session) at Texas A&M University or Blinn. • Must work an average of 12 hours per week during the Fall and Spring Semesters. • Must be able to work at minimum, in 3-hour blocks of time for 12 hours per week during the Fall and Spring Semesters and 4-hour blocks during the summer (if working during the summer).

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications: • Previous office work experience, specifically writing reports and working on a team. • Strong preference for applicants in their second year of college. • Must be able to keep a consistent schedule each workweek. • Graphic design skills, experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. • Experience with tableau or an equivalent data visualization software.
Other Instructions
• Business casual attire required. No exercise tights, shorts, or athletic wear allowed.
